Country Charm Bed and Breakfast provides a Haven of Rest for those who want a Peaceful Retreat

Located in the heart of Cajun Country, city of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, about 10 miles northeast of Lafayette and around 50 miles to Baton Rouge City.

The Inn is located on part of the old Magenta Plantation, which was a 6,000 acre sugar cane plantation. The private five acre fishing lake on the property was dug in the 1800's as a reservoir for the plantation.

You have a choice of your individually designed guest home:

"Precious Past" Suite

This large suite has a queen size bed, dressing table and armoire,a sitting area, a charming antique dinette, and a morning kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator.

Barn Loft Suite

A king-size bed is sure to provide a peaceful rest; From the balcony one can observe the breathtaking view of the English gardens, the glistening lake in the morning sunrise, and the majestic Evangeline oaks that canopy over the entire property.

The Lakeside Cottage

This cottage is a two-bedroom cottage facing the lake, has a full kitchen with dishwasherand offers the convenience of a washer & dryer for those guests on extended vacations.

Amenities include a canoe for your use on the lake, and a fishing pier. In the shade of the oak trees there is a barbeque pit with tables, chairs, a swing, and a hammock. On chilly evenings, cuddle up to the warmth of our fire-pit by the lake.
